There will be a much more seasoned team taking to the hardwood this season for the Detroit Lakes boys' basketball team. The Lakers have a good amount of experience coming back in each of the front and backcourts to see a stark improvement from a year ago. The Lakers should be stout in the paint this season, with each of junior Josh Stalberger and sophomore Joe Mollberg back. Unfortunately, Mollberg will be out indefinitely with a back injury, with no timetable set for his return. Stalberger is coming off a solid season last year and will be looked to be used on the block more. Offensively, the Lakers will have a little different look with a four-out, dribble and drive motion to create their shots. Penetrating the lane will be the responsibility of the guards, which includes senior Tyler Fode, juniors Connor McLeod and Connor Hedstrom, along with sophomore Rick Hutchinson. Fode will also return as DL's best defensive player from a year ago and will provide the threat of hitting three-pointers, while Hedstrom saw solid time at the end of last season.
Asked by OlivyaChin. I'm not sure why this is happening, but there is an increase in the number of players being rude and disrespectful to the newer players. I've noticed that the game has two kinds of players - those who are genuinely interested in helping others, and those who simply don't have patience to tolerate newer players. With all these new updates, this game is becoming more and more complex, so yes, it'll take time to learn all that this game has to offer. Inconsiderate players really need to stop complaining when other players are taking a bit longer to get to extraction. Everybody understands you want to crack as many relics as possible in the shortest amount of time, but from a new player's perspective, it is already frustrating enough. The names used in this game sound like gibberish when you first start; it can get frustrating navigating certain maps or trying to find certain items within a map. Everybody was once an amateur within the game. There's no need to be rude or to talk down to newer players who are trying to establish their bearings within the game.
